Abstract(s)

Survey results were analyzed using SPSS software and having been grouped into factors through an Exploratory Fator Analysis. According to the data obtained, it was possible to verify that the general guidelines of the reward system of the company under study are defined centrally and locally are adjusted to both internal and external context. We are dealing with a company that bases its reward system functions as a way to define its fixed and this component combines a variable component that depends on the performance of the worker, the social benefits to meet social needs and the possibility of buying shares. The reward system in this company meets the conditions to be considered effective, the intrinsic factors are an integral part of this system, which can be characterized as a traditional pay system that integrates component performance and values the variable part. These findings are taken from both the content analysis of the interview and of the outcome of the questionnaires AFE, given the differences between the findings of interviews and questionnaires.
