cuidadores.
Envolvimento Familiar e Suporte Social. Contudo, as escalas Mudanças Familiares e
ABSTRACT- This study aimed to adapt the profile of the Questionnaire of Family Resiliency McCubbin and McCubbin (1993) to a sample of family caregivers. The instrument aim to understand how the family develops skills to respond and adapt to situations of stress and crisis that may occur during its life cycle. For this we used a convenience sample of 124 family caregivers of patients after hospitalization if they had functionally dependent. Caregivers were mostly women 86.3% (107), married 84.7% (105), retired 46.0% (57) with a mean age of 61.2 ± 12.3 years and caregivers are also spouses and sons 42.7% (53). The study of the psychometric properties reflected good fidelity for family flexibility, family involvement and social support but fidelity is lower for the family changes and family cohesion. It is suggested to carry out more studies to clarify the validity of the instrument.
