Análise da urgência ginecológica e obstétrica segundo a metodologia Lean Thinking

| dc.description.abstract | Um dos desafios que se colocam ao Sistema Nacional de Saúde Português, centra se nos serviços de urgência hospitalar, atendendo, não apenas à taxa de insatisfação por parte dos clientes, bem como, à crescente preocupação com a segurança e qualidade dos cuidados prestados, fruto dos constrangimentos socioeconómicos que o pais enfrenta. A metodologia lean thinking carateriza-se por uma filosofia de gestão que visa o aumento do valor do produto para o cliente, envolvendo toda a estrutura organizacional na melhoria da qualidade e no combate ao desperdício. Desta forma, este projeto inovador teve como objetivo analisar o Serviço de Urgência Ginecológica e Obstétrica (SUGO) do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça (HNM), segundo a metodologia Lean Thinking. Assim, adotou-se, como metodologia, a aplicação de dois instrumentos, o value stream mapping e o diagrama de esparguete, na identificação do fluxo/processo de produção, do cliente e do EESMO; foi, igualmente, aplicado um questionário de satisfação aos clientes que recorreram ao SUGO, com recurso à metodologia de projeto. Como resultados, identificámos desperdícios no fluxo de processamento da urgência do HNM (tempo de espera para triagem, tempo de transporte para SUGO e tempo de espera para a consulta médica); relativamente à satisfação das clientes, obtivemos a ponderação de excelente em 58,5%, seguido de muito bom com 32,7%, o EESMO foi o grupo profissional com maior percentagem de satisfação. Este trabalho permitiu concluir que a admissão diretamente pelo SUGO está associada a um menor tempo de espera comparativamente à admissão efetuada no serviço de urgência geral. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | One of the challenges that the Portuguese National Health System are facing focuses on hospital emergency department, resulting not only from the dissatisfaction rate of clients, but also the growing concern with the safety and quality of care, result of the socioeconomic constraints that the country are facing. The lean thinking methodology is characterized by a management philosophy aimed to increase the value of the product to the customer, involving the entire organizational structure in improving quality and combating waste. This innovative project aimed to analyze the Gynecological and Obstetric Emergency Department (GOED) of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital (HNM), according to the Lean Thinking methodology. The methodology adopted was the application of two instruments, the value stream mapping and the spaghetti diagram, to analyze the production flow / process of the client and also the Obstetric Nurse (ON); customer satisfaction questionnaire was also applied to GOED, using the project methodology. As a result, we identified waste in the HNM urgency processing flow (waiting time for sorting, transport time to GOED and waiting time for medical appointment); regarding customer satisfaction, we obtained 58,5% of excellent, followed by 32,7% of very good, the ON was the professional group with the highest percentage of satisfaction. This study concluded that the admission directly by GOED is associated with a shorter waiting time compared to admission to the general emergency department. | pt_PT |
