Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio é de natureza crítico-reflexiva sobre o percurso formativo e
pessoal desenvolvido no âmbito do 6º Mestrado em Enfermagem em Associação na área de
Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica. Descreve-se o desenvolvimento de
competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica e as
competências de Mestre em Enfermagem. O tema, “Intervenção do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica na Adesão ao Regime Terapêutico da Pessoa com Doença
Mental na Transição de Cuidados”, emergiu de uma necessidade sentida no local de estágio, traduzindo-
se na criação de uma consulta pós alta hospitalar da pessoa com doença mental, procurando assegurar
que esta transição seja o mais positiva possível. Pretendeu-se ainda contribuir para a redução do
fenómeno da “porta giratória”, principalmente por falta de adesão ao regime terapêutico, essencialmente
nos 30 primeiros dias após a alta. Ao criar-se esta consulta, constatou-se que houve um aumento de
adesão ao regime terapêutico de 11 pessoas com doença mental, acompanhadas ao longo das consultas,
tendo estas adquirido mais insight e capacitação para a gestão do seu regime terapêutico,
nomeadamente, gestão da terapêutica medicamentosa, regime dietético e regime de exercício,
potenciando-lhes mais ganhos em saúde.
This internship report is of a critical-reflective nature on the training and personal path developed within the scope of the 6th Master's Degree in Nursing in Association in the area of Specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing. It describes the development of the common and specific competences of the Specialist Mental Health and Psychiatric Nurse and the competences of the Master in Nursing. The theme, “Intervention by the Specialist Mental Health and Psychiatric Nurse in the Adherence to the Therapeutic Regime of the Person with Mental Illness in the Transition of Care”, emerged from a need felt at the internship site, translating into the creation of a post-discharge consultation for the person with mental illness, seeking to ensure that this transition is as positive as possible. The aim was also to help reduce the revolving door phenomenon, mainly due to a lack of adherence to the therapeutic regime, essentially in the first 30 days after discharge. When this consultation was set up, it was found that there was an increase in adherence to the therapeutic regimen of 11 people with mental illness, who were accompanied throughout the consultations, having acquired more insight and training in the management of their therapeutic regimen, namely, management of drug therapy, dietary regimen and exercise regimen, giving them more health gains.
