Abstract(s)
Com este trabalho, salientou-se a necessidade de aplicação de técnicas
comunicacionais pelos polícias, aquando da sua atividade e nos mais diversos ambientes.
Numa sociedade cada vez mais exigente e sempre em mutação, sentimos necessidade
de refletir sobre o paradigma de atuação da Polícia, analisar o valor da comunicação e a sua
eficácia, assim como a importância da comunicação nas relações entre os profissionais de
polícia e os cidadãos.
Para se conseguir enquadrar devidamente a natureza da atuação policial, há que ter
em consideração as diferentes variáveis existentes, tanto internas como externas, a que os
agentes de autoridade estão sujeitos.
Para alcançar o objetivo de demonstrar a importância desta verdadeira ferramenta
que são as competências comunicacionais, com recurso a técnicas diversas, pretendeu-se
primeiramente compreender o destaque dado a esta temática e quais as vantagens em
estabelecer uma estratégia nacional para o efetivo da Instituição, analisando-se o plano de
formação existente a nível nacional na Polícia de Segurança Pública e, por fim, enumerando
as inúmeras vantagens individuais, mas também a nível geral, que poderão advir de uma
adequada utilização destas competências.
This work emphasized the need to use communication techniques by police officers, in their activity and in different environments. In an increasingly demanding and changing society, we felt the need to reflect on the paradigm of Police action, analyse the value of communication and its effectiveness, so as the importance of communication in relations between police officers and citizens. In order to properly frame the nature of the police action, it is necessary to consider the different internal and external variables that officers are subject to. To achieve the objective of demonstrating the importance of this truly tool that are communication skills, using various techniques, it was first intended to understand the emphasis given to this topic and what are the advantages in establishing a national strategy for the officers of the Institution, analysing the existing training plan at a national level on Polícia de Segurança Pública and, finally, listing the numerous advantages, both individual and in general, that can arise from the proper use of this skills.
