Este projeto investiga o desenvolvimento de um jogo de tabuleiro para crianças que pretende aumentar a consciencialização sobre o desperdício alimentar, utilizando estratégias de marketing e metodologias educativas de jogos. Resulta de uma parceria com a organização, sem fins lucrativos DarIAcordar, que procura reduzir o desperdício alimentar através de práticas sustentáveis.
O estudo foi realizado com crianças dos 7 aos 11 anos, investigando como as crianças podem interagir com conteúdos educativos através de jogos interativos, estimulando o interesse e a aprendizagem das crianças através do brincar. Foram testados dois protótipos de jogos em contexto educacional que resultaram num novo protótipo de jogo com os insights resultantes da primeira experiência.
A pesquisa utilizou métodos qualitativos, que incluíram observações, entrevistas semiestruturadas e questionários, que tiveram como objetivo recolher informações sobre as perceções e as experiências, tanto dos alunos como das professoras e o interesse dos encarregados de educação.
Os resultados demonstram que os jogos podem ser divertidos, tornando as crianças mais recetivas aos conteúdos. O projeto conclui com recomendações para futuras pesquisas e a possibilidade comercial do jogo, destacando-o como uma ferramenta educativa com impacto positivo.

It results from a partnership with the non-profit organization DarIAcordar, which seeks to reduce food waste through sustainable practices. The study was conducted with children aged 7 to 11, exploring how children can interact with educational content through interactive games, stimulating their interest and learning through play. Two game prototypes were tested in an educational context, resulting in a new game prototype informed by insights from the first experience. The research utilized qualitative methods, including observations, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires, aimed at collecting information about the perceptions and experiences of both students and teachers and the parents' interest. The results demonstrate that games can be enjoyable, making children more receptive to the content. The project concludes with recommendations for future research and the commercial potential of the game, highlighting it as an educational tool with a positive impact.
