O presente Relatório de Estágio surge no âmbito do 5º Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, ramo à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatório, da Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. José de Cluny no ano letivo 2021/2022, sendo que a sua apresentação e discussão pública, demonstra o percurso efetuado para a construção de competências de enfermeiro especialista e a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
Enfatiza a “Prevenção do Delirium Pós-Operatório na pessoa idosa submetida a cirurgia da coluna” como foco de atenção do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica da pessoa em situação perioperatória.
A prática clínica decorreu em contextos perioperatórios. O Ensino Clínico I obteve acreditação mediante confirmação da experiência profissional, o Ensino Clínico II, decorreu numa Unidade de Hemodinâmica, e o Ensino Clínico III, num internamento de cirurgia, o Serviço de Oftalmologia/ Neurocirurgia/ Neurologia e numa Unidade de Cuidados Pós-Anestésicas.
O relatório evidência o percurso de aprendizagem e descreve o desenvolvimento de competências, através de uma análise crítico-reflexiva baseada em evidência científica, das situações decorrentes nos ensinos clínicos, e suas implicações no cuidado especializado para a aquisição das competências comuns e específicas de Enfermeira Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, no cuidado à pessoa em situação perioperatória, bem como do desenvolvimento das competências de segundo ciclo.
The present Internship Report is part of the 5th Master's program in Medical Surgical Nursing, specializing in Perioperative Care, at the School of Nursing S. José de Cluny during the academic year 2021/2022. Its presentation and public discussion demonstr ate the path taken to build the skills of a specialized nurse and obtain the Master's degree in Medical Surgical Nursing. It emphasizes "Prevention of Postoperative Delirium in the elderly undergoing spinal surgery" as the focus of attention for the specialized nurse in medical surgical nursing in the perioperative care setting. The clinical practice took place in perioperative settings. Clinical Teaching I received accreditation through confirmation of professional experience, Clinical Teaching II took place in a Hemodynamics Unit, and Clinical Teaching III took place in a surgical ward, the Ophthalmology/Neurosurgery/Neurology Service, and a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The report highlights the learning journey and describes the development of skills through a critical reflexive analysis based on scientific evidence of the situations encountered during the internships and their implications for specialized care, aiming t o acquire both common and specific competencies of a Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Nursing, in the care of patients in perioperative situations, as well as the development of second cycle competencies.
