Desde sempre e principalmente no contexto atual é necessário possuir recursos humanos competentes, motivados e capacitados para desempenharem o melhor possível a sua função, sendo cada vez mais necessário, buscar e proporcionar condições para que os diversos profissionais consigam mais facilmente identificar problemas, propor e implementar soluções, formular e implementar políticas de gestão de pessoas o mais adequadas possível às várias situações do dia-a-dia num Regimento de Infantaria. O presente trabalho de investigação intitulado: “Práticas de Gestão de Recursos Humanos, Atitudes e Comportamentos de Comando num Regimento de Infantaria”, tem como objeto analisar as práticas de gestão de recursos humanos num regimento de infantaria. Pretende-se perceber quais as diferenças e quais as necessidades que levam a uma gestão diferente de militares dos quadro e de militares contratados, analisar possíveis diferenças perante praças e graduados, identificar quais os novos desafios que se colocam perante a atual crise económico-financeira e igualmente verificar se o tempo de serviço tem influência na motivação dos subordinados. O presente trabalho encontra-se dividido em duas partes, a primeira parte teórica e a segunda parte prática. Na primeira parte é efetuada uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema da investigação de forma a sustentar a parte teórica do trabalho. A segunda parte do trabalho incide sobre o trabalho de campo, onde se obteve informação através dos inquéritos e das entrevistas e se tiram as conclusões gerais sobre o tema.
Com base neste trabalho verificou-se que existem diferentes práticas de gestão de
recursos humanos dentro de um Regimento de Infantaria perante os vários militares e essas tem influência na motivação dos subordinados. Existem diferenças quando a comparação é feita entre militares em regime de voluntariado/contrato e militares do quadro permanente. E existe da mesma forma diferenças quando a comparação é feita entre Praças e Graduados.
Abstract Since always and especially in the current context becomes necessary to have competent, motivated and empowered human resources in order for them to perform in the best possible way their function, becoming increasingly necessary to seek and provide conditions for the various professionals to be more able to easily identify problems, propose and implement solutions, formulate and implement policies for managing people as appropriated as possible to various daily situations in an Infantry Regiment. This research work entitled "Human Resource Management Practices, Attitudes and Behaviors in Command on an Infantry Regiment", aims at analyzing the practices of human resource management in an infantry regiment. The aim is to understand what differences and which needs leads to take a different action in career soldiers and noncareer soldier’s management, analyzing as possible the differences between privates and corporals and sergeant and officers, and to identify which new challenges are arising in the current economic and financial crisis and also check if the influence in service time has an influence on the motivation of subordinates. The present work is divided into two parts, the first is a theoretical part and the second is a practical one. In the first part is made a literature research performed on the subject theme to support the theoretical part of the work. The second part of the work focuses on field work, where information was collected through surveys and interviews and draw general conclusions about the subject. Based on this work it was found that different Human Management Resources practices exist within an Infantry Regiment these have influence on the motivation of subordinates. There are also differences when the comparison is made between military as volunteers / military contracted and permanent staff. And there are in the same way differences when the comparison is made between privates and corporals with sergeants and officers.
