Abstract(s)
O presente relatório “Aprender a viver Juntos: Os Conflitos em Contextos
de Educação de Infância”, tem como objetivo compreender o papel do Educador
na gestão de conflitos. Procurei dar resposta à questão compreendendo o que é
um conflito, a importância das interações entre crianças, como se processa o
desenvolvimento e aprendizagem das crianças e o papel do educador como
gestor do currículo.
Relativamente à metodologia, o presente projeto de estudo insere-se
numa metodologia de investigação qualitativa, tendo como princípios o da
investigação-ação. Esta investigação foi realizada em dois contextos educativos,
creche e jardim de infância, em momentos diferenciados. Os procedimentos de
recolha e tratamento de informação que utilizei foram, observação participante,
notas de campo, análise documental, registos de multimédia e inquérito por
questionário realizado às educadoras cooperantes.
As intervenções apresentadas neste projeto foram planificadas. Com a
análise realizada, foi-me possível compreender que os conflitos são algo natural
nestas faixas etárias, estando na origem das interações entre pares, e o
educador, tem o papel de observar e apoiar, oferecendo oportunidade para que
as crianças resolvam os seus conflitos autonomamente, porém, apoiando o
grupo.
This report “Early Childhood Conflict…What Now? – Strategies Used by Educators for Conflict Resolution”, aims to understand the role of the Educator in conflict management. This theme emerged from the observations made in the internship contexts. I tried to answer the question by understanding what a conflict is, the importance of interactions between children, how the development and learning of children are processed and the role of the educator as a curriculum manager. In terms of methodology, this study project is part of a qualitative research methodology, based on action-research principles. This investigation was carried out in two educational contexts, daycare and kindergarten, at different times. The procedures for collecting and processing information that I used were participant observation, field notes, document analysis, multimedia records and a questionnaire survey carried out with cooperating educators. The interventions presented in this project were planned. With the analysis carried out, it was possible for me to understand that conflicts are something natural in these age groups, being at the origin of interactions between peers, and the educator has the role of observing and analyzing, offering opportunities for children to resolve their conflicts. autonomously, however, supporting the group.
