| dc.description.abstract | O mundo tem assistido ao emergir de situações de catástrofe e/ou emergência multivitimas e o atendimento das mesmas depende da atuação sincronizada da equipa multidisciplinar, na qual o enfermeiro tem um papel primordial. É necessário por parte dos profissionais um pensamento crítico, flexível e capaz de se adaptar às diferentes realidades. Objetivo: O objetivo geral deste documento é descrever de forma crítica e reflexiva as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo dos estágios. Método: O relatório segue a metodologia descritiva, onde são expressas as atividades ao longo do estágio, nomeadamente a atividade major, assente na metodologia de projeto e que deu nome a este relatório. Com vista a avaliar a perceção dos enfermeiros sobre a sua preparação perante uma situação de catástrofe, foi aplicado um questionário, o instrumento DPET-PT e elaborada uma instrução de trabalho. Resultados: A atividade de intervenção major desenvolvida, permitiu contribuir para a formação dos enfermeiros do serviço de urgência, desenvolvendo uma cultura de segurança e garantindo uma atuação eficaz perante tais eventos. | dc.description.abstract | The world has witnessed the emergence of situations of catastrophe and / or multivitiemergency and the attendance of them depends on the synchronized performance of the multidisciplinary team, in which the nurse has a primary role. Critical thinking, flexible and able to adapt to different realities is necessary on the part of professionals. Objective: The general objective of this document is to describe in a critical and reflective way the activities developed during the internships. Method: The report follows the descriptive methodology, where activities are expressed throughout the internship, namely the major activity, based on the project methodology and which gave the name to this report. In order to assess the nurses' perception of their preparation in the face of a catastrophe situation, a questionnaire was applied, the DPET-PT instrument and work instructions were prepared. Results: The major intervention activity developed, made it possible to contribute to the training of nurses in the emergency service, developing a culture of safety and guaranteeing an effective performance in the face of such events.
