Abstract(s)
The Document Management under review addresses usability issues. This intervention, inserted in the scope of an internship report, aims to address this problem, having as reference the following objectives: first, a significant improvement in the Usability and User Experience of the solution; secondly, to design an interface and experience that significantly improves the aforementioned Usability; and third, to produce a future reference for both the product and academia. Throughout the M.Sc. in Interaction Design attended at IADE - Universidade Europeia, skills were acquired on Interaction Design, Design Thinking, User Experience and Usability based on the study, methodologies and contents developed by reference authors, namely Ben Schneiderman (1997), Jacob Nielsen (1999) and Don Norman (2013). Social advances in the study of emotions in the behavioral sciences, allow us today to assess that the way they affect the human being at a cognitive level (positively and negatively) allows them to shape and be directly related to the way users interact with a particular system. Thus, the analysis of the Document Management Solution presented in this document, will focus on measuring its Usability and User Experience as taught regarding good practices inherent to such subjects. It is therefore intended that by improving Usability and User Experience, this solution will provide a more attractive and enjoyable interface for user interaction, as these features are an asset to stand out from its competitors.
