Abstract(s)
O modo como as mulheres e os homens conseguem encontrar um equilíbrio
entre a esfera da família e do trabalho, tem sido considerado um dos maiores desafios
da nossa sociedade. Neste sentido, o presente estudo incide sobre o conflito trabalho família nos militares da Esquadrilha de Submarinos da Marinha Portuguesa, avaliando
os efeitos que o ambiente de trabalho de suporte à família e o suporte do líder podem
ter na redução da perceção do conflito trabalho-família. Foi efetuado um estudo
quantitativo com uma amostra de 105 militares, considerando o local onde prestam
serviço, a sua categoria, posto, idade e género. Os resultados obtidos revelam que a
interferência do trabalho na família correlaciona-se negativamente com o suporte do
líder e que o ambiente de trabalho de suporte à família está relacionado positivamente
com o conflito trabalho-família. Rejeita-se ainda que o suporte do líder medeia a
relação entre o ambiente de trabalho de suporte à família e o conflito trabalho-família.
Por fim, efetuou-se análises que visaram a determinação de variáveis com o intuito de
encontrar um conjunto de fatores explicativos inerentes ao conjunto de 39 itens do
questionário.
The way man and woman afford to find the balance between their family domain and their work domain has been one of the main challenges faced by modern society. In this way, this work aims to the work-family conflict in the Portuguese Submarine Squadron, assessing the effects on their family work supportive environment and the leader support that may decline their work-family conflict. It has been conducted a study with a 105 samples of the militaries, having the variables of their job place, category, rank, age and gender. The results revealed the Work-tofamily interference is negatively correlate with the leader support and that the family work supportive environment is positively correlate with the work-family conflict. It’s declined that the leader support mediates the relation between family work supportive environment and work-family conflict. Finally, it has been conducted several analyses, with the main purpose to find a set of explaining factors associated to all 39 items questionnaire
