| dc.description.abstract | Este Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada concerne a abordagem das Novas Missões da Polícia Militar, tendo como objetivo principal, estudar as missões de detenção e de polícia, na polícia do nosso Exército. É de referir que o termo, novas, é usado tendo em conta a terminologia e enquadramento dado pelo Allied Joint Doctrine for Military Police. Assim sendo e, dado os cenários que se colocam nos dias de hoje, passam a ser missões doutrinárias da Polícia Militar, para além de Segurança, Prisioneiros de Guerra e Apoio à Mobilidade, também as missões de Detenção e Polícia. Estas missões tratam também de uma similaridade que se pretende refletir ao nível da Polícia Militar dos países NATO. Além de uma investigação a nível internacional, NATO, este trabalho também pretende versar a componente destas missões, não só, no âmbito das Missões de Interesse Público, em que o Exército Português atua como agente de Proteção Civil, mas também coadunado com este papel, aumentar a participação em missões de cooperação com as forças de segurança em algumas áreas que integram estas missões. A metodologia empregue teve por base o Guia Prático de Metodologia da Professora Manuela Sarmento recolhendo-se informação através de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental, entrevistas semiestruturadas e estruturadas e todas as conversas informais com especialistas nesta área. Como resultado deste estudo pretendeu-se enfatizar o papel da Polícia Militar nos cenários de conflitos internacionais, justificando o seu emprego. Ainda se efetuou um reforço do que a Polícia do Exército poderia fazer em tempo de paz e quais as áreas especificamente onde poderia empenhar os seus meios, no Território Nacional, dando lógica a esta ação através da sua tipologia de missões. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract This Applied Investigation work concerns the approach to the New Missions of the Military Police. Its purpose is to study the new missions of Detention and of the Police in the police of the Portuguese Army. It is important to mention that the word “new” is used taking into account the terminology and framing given by the Allied Joint Doctrine for Military Police. Thus and according to the present time scenes, not only Security Guard, Prisoners of War and Support to Mobility, but also the missions of Detention and Police are now doctrinal missions of the Military Police. These missions also deal with a similarity which is supposed to be reflected to the level of the Military Police of the NATO countries. Beyond an international level investigation NATO, this work also intends to practice the component of these missions, not only in the scope of the Missions of Public Interest, where the Portuguese Army acts as an agent of Civil protection, but also, together with this role, to increase the participation in missions of cooperation with the Forces of Security in some areas that integrate the above mentioned missions. The methodology used in this work was based on the Practical Guide of Methodology of the Teacher Manuela Sarmento. The information was obtained through bibliographical research, documentary analysis, structuralized and semi-structuralized interviews as well as several informal talks with experts in this area. The purpose of this study was to emphasize the role of the Military Police in the scenes of international conflicts, justifying its work. It was also done a reinforcement of what the Police of the Army could do in time of peace and in which areas it could employ its means, in the country, giving logic to this action through its type of missions. | por |
