A identificação e remoção de Barreiras Arquitetónicas e a promoção da acessibilidade são
fundamentais para permitir uma vida independente às pessoas com mobilidade condicionada.
Os Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação têm um papel fundamental na
identificação de barreiras arquitetónicas sendo da sua competência a identificação de
intervenções que resultem na sua eliminação, através do aconselhamento e prescrição de
produtos de apoio.
O presente relatório pretende descrever e refletir sobre o processo de desenvolvimento das
competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação
realizado ao longo dos diferentes contextos clínicos e através de dois estudos de caso focados
no tema “Barreiras Arquitetónicas no Domicílio”. A intervenção de enfermagem de reabilitação
nos dois estudos de caso centra-se na identificação de barreiras arquitetónicas e na análise das
adaptações necessárias para a promoção da mobilidade e independência da pessoa.
No decorrer deste trabalho, é feita uma caracterização dos diferentes contextos clínicos onde
foram realizados os estágios, a descrição dos dois estudos de caso e o respetivo programa de
reabilitação elaborado refletindo sobre os resultados obtidos, assim como, o contributo para o
desenvolvimento de competências do EEER.
A metodologia aplicada envolveu a pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a temática e o estudo dos dois
casos realizados na plataforma E4nursing, implementando um programa de reabilitação
adaptado à condição de cada uma das pessoas e sendo realizada uma reflexão sobre os ganhos
em saúde, resultantes dos programas de reabilitação instituídos. Com a implementação das
intervenções no ambiente domiciliar foram evidenciadas melhorias a nível funcional da
mobilidade da pessoa, assim como, o aumento da segurança no espaço físico habitacional.
No âmbito dos ensinos clínicos desenvolvidos, nos diferentes contextos, foi possível alcançar as
competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação.
O desenvolvimento dos dois estudos de caso na plataforma E4nursing permitiu aperfeiçoar a
elaboração de um plano de cuidados, assim como aperfeiçoar e consolidar competências na
área da enfermagem de reabilitação.
The identification and removal of Architectural Barriers and the promotion of accessibility are fundamental to enabling independent living for people with mobility impairments. Specialist Nurses in Rehabilitation Nursing play a crucial role in the identification of architectural barriers, and it is within their competence to carry out interventions that result in their elimination, through counseling and prescribing assistive products. This report aims to describe and reflect on the process of developing both common and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing, carried out across various clinical settings and through two case studies focused on the theme "Architectural Barriers at Home." The rehabilitation nursing intervention in the two case studies focuses on identifying architectural barriers and analyzing the necessary adaptations to promote the mobility and independence of the individual. Throughout this work, a characterization of the different clinical contexts where internships were conducted is provided, along with a description of the two case studies and their respective rehabilitation programs, reflecting on the results obtained, as well as their contribution for the competency development of the rehabilitation Nurse The methodology involved bibliographic research on the topic and the study of the two cases carried out on the E4nursing platform, implementing a rehabilitation program tailored to each individual's condition, and reflecting on the health gains resulting from the established rehabilitation programs. By implementing interventions at home environment, improvements in functional mobility of the individual were evidenced, as well as increased safety at home physical space. In the scope of the clinical teachings developed in different contexts, it was possible to achieve both common and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing. The development of the two case studies on the E4nursing platform allowed to the enhancement of knowledge regarding the development of an efficient care plan, as well as refining and consolidating competencies according to the necessary care and rehabilitation techniques.
