Este relatório de estágio, elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica pretende descrever e analisar o meu percurso formativo realizado ao longo dos diferentes campos de estágio entre setembro de 2023 e julho de 2024. O principal objetivo do estágio foi aprimorar conhecimentos e desenvolver competências de atuação do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Materna e Obstétrica.
Este percurso foi caracterizado pela aquisição progressiva de conhecimentos e competências especializadas permitindo um amplo contacto entre diferentes realidades e desafios.
O desenvolvimento das competências específicas será traduzido na conceção de cuidados de seis casos clínicos decorridos durante o estágio. Foi também elaborada uma reflexão crítica das competências adquiridas ao longo do desenvolvimento dos planos de cuidados.
A investigação assume-se como um papel essencial para o aprofundamento do conhecimento na área de saúde materna e obstétrica, promovendo a prática de enfermagem baseada na evidência. Durante o estágio, tive a oportunidade de acompanhar uma parturiente com antecedentes de depressão pós-parto, o que despertou em mim o interesse em explorar este tema no capítulo de desenvolvimento de competências no âmbito da investigação. A depressão pós-parto é uma condição prevalente e com um impacto significativo na saúde da mulher. Devido à sua prevalência é fulcral identificar sintomas precocemente, sendo necessário conhecer quais os métodos de rastreio. Assim, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura, com o objetivo de identificar e analisar os métodos de rastreio mais eficazes na deteção precoce.
Este relatório reflete não só o percurso de aprendizagem desenvolvido ao longo dos estágios, como também a aplicação prática dos conhecimentos adquiridos.
This internship report, prepared as part of the master’s degree in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing, aims to describe and analyze my educational journey throughout the various internship placements between September 2023 and July 2024. The primary objective of the internship was to enhance knowledge and develop the skills of a midwife. This journey was characterized by the progressive acquisition of specialized knowledge and skills, allowing for extensive exposure to different realities and challenges. The development of specific competencies will be reflected in the care provided in six clinical cases observed during the internship. A critical reflection on the skills acquired throughout the development of care plans was also conducted. Research plays a crucial role in deepening knowledge in the field of maternal and obstetric health, promoting evidence-based nursing practice. During the internship, I had the opportunity to accompany a parturient with a history of postpartum depression, which sparked my interest in exploring this topic in the chapter focused on the development of research competencies. Postpartum depression is a prevalent condition with a significant impact on women's health. Due to its prevalence, it is essential to identify symptoms early, and understanding the screening methods is necessary. Thus, an integrative literature review was conducted to identify and analyze the most effective screening methods for early detection. This report reflects not only the learning path developed throughout the internships but also the practical application of the knowledge acquired.
