Abstract(s)
As Câmaras Municipais são fundamentais na nossa
sociedade contemporânea, devido ao seu papel ativo em
questões sociais, culturais, económicas e financeiras.
Constituem os verdadeiros intervenientes na criação e
construção de comunidades e, enquanto entidade pública,
é bastante relevante que a sua identidade possa refletir os
seus valores, objetivos e missão. Com este ponto de
partida, o projeto de investigação procura criar um
processo de comunicação, cujo objetivo principal é
avaliar e dar resposta perante o desempenho de
comunicação. Para a identidade visual como Câmara
Municipal de Castelo de Vide, uma das vilas mais
importantes em termos de património cultural e natural
em Portugal, é necessário compreender qual o papel do
design na sociedade.
Assim, a visão para o desenvolvimento de uma proposta
desta natureza, passa sobretudo pelo lugar onde o
organismo se situa. É através do estudo dos valores
sociais, culturais e históricos que se obtém uma nova
identidade e composição visual atual, inovadora e
coerente. A pesquisa consiste numa abordagem ampla que
se depara com estudo consistente sobre a identidade
visual e num trabalho de recolha e análise de dados, com
o intuito de sintetizar e ordenar os discursos visuais da
sociedade contemporânea. Este estudo comprovou a
importância do devido posicionamento do design perante
a cultura e as entidades públicas do panorama nacional.
City Councils are fundamental in our contemporary society due to their active role in social, cultural, economic and financial issues. They are the active players in the creation and construction of communities, and as a very relevant public entity, their identity must reflect their values, goals and mission. With this starting point, the research project seeks to create a communication process, whose main objective is to evaluate and respond to communication performance. For the visual identity as Castelo de Vide City Hall, one of the most important towns in terms of cultural and natural heritage in Portugal, it is necessary to understand the role of design in society. Thus, the vision for the development of a proposal of this nature, passes above all through the place where the organism is located. It is through the study of social, cultural and historical values that a new identity and current, innovative and coherent visual composition is obtained. The research consists of a broad approach that is faced with a consistent study of visual identity and a work of data collection and analysis, with the aim of synthesizing and ordering the visual discourses of contemporary society. This study proved the importance of the proper positioning of design before the culture and public entities of the national panorama.
