| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo tem como finalidade perceber se os professores do 1º ciclo do ensino básico têm ou não conhecimento do que são os SAAC (Sistemas Alternativos e Aumentativos de Comunicação) e se estão preparados para trabalhar com crianças que os utilizem, nas salas de aula. Este trabalho baseou-se num estudo exploratório, e foi desenvolvido através do preenchimento de um questionário pelos professores. O questionário foi divulgado online, na rede social Facebook, em grupos para professores. Este foi preenchido por um total de 102 professores. Os dados recolhidos refletem que os professores do 1º ciclo têm conhecimento do que são os SAAC, embora ainda poucos tenham tido alunos que os utilizem nas salas de aula. Relativamente àqueles que já utilizaram os SAAC nas salas de aula, também apontam algumas dificuldades sentidas, tais como: o número de alunos da turma, a falta de recursos e a falta de formação. Isto porque a maioria dos professores afirmou que o conhecimento que tem dos SAAC adveio de formações posteriores à inicial. Poderá então afirmar-se que os professores têm conhecimento dos SAAC, mas que ainda se sentem pouco preparados para trabalhar com eles. Logo uma das soluções poderá ser fomentar a frequência de uma disciplina de SAAC na formação inicial, como referem os professores que responderam ao questionário. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims as an objective at understanding if primary school teachers have or don’t have knowledge about systems of alternative and augmentative communication (know what they are) and if they are ready to work with them, in their classrooms. This work is based on a exploratory research and it was developed by means of completing a questionnaire by the teachers. The questionnaire was posted online, in Facebook, a social network, and inside a group for teachers. This questionnaire was filled by a total of 102 teachers. The data collections reflect that primary school teachers have the knowledge about the systems of alternative and augmentative communication, although only a few of these teachers had worked, in their classrooms, with children who need to use one of these systems for communication. Still referring about the teachers who had worked with one of the systems of communication, they showed some difficulties, such as: the number of students in a class, the lack of resources and the lack of training. Most teachers said that knowledge came from a formation after the initial one. We could say that the primary school teachers have the knowneledge about the systems of alternative and augmentative communication, but only a few of them feel ready to work with it. One of the solutions could be encourage them to attend subjects of systems of alternative and augmentative communication in the initial training, as mentioned by the teachers who responded to the questionnaire. | pt_PT |
