O presente trabalho pretende descrever o percurso realizado no estágio final, decorrido no
serviço de urgência de um Centro Hospitalar a sul do Tejo de 16 de setembro a 26 de janeiro de
2023. Descrevemos e analisamos as atividades realizadas ao longo do mesmo, que possibilitaram
a aquisição e o desenvolvimento de competências de enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem
médico-cirúrgica e de mestre em enfermagem, essenciais para uma abordagem qualificada ao
utente crítico.
O projeto de intervenção major, foi desenvolvido e descrito, de acordo com a metodologia
de projeto e apoiado pelo modelo conceptual holístico de Myra Estrin Levine. Teve como
finalidade, melhorar a qualidade e segurança dos cuidados prestados à pessoa em situação crítica
com suspeita de sépsis ou em choque séptico.
A realização deste relatório possibilitou, descrever todo o trajeto formativo e efetuar uma
análise fundamentada, crítica e ponderada de todo o processo de obtenção e desenvolvimento de
competências de enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica à Pessoa em
Situação Crítica e as de Mestre em enfermagem
This study aims to describe the final internship, which took place in the emergency department of a Hospital Centre south of the Tejo River from September 16 to January 26, 2023. We describe and analyse the activities carried out throughout the internship, which enabled the acquisition and development of medical-surgical nursing specialist and master's degree in nursing skills, which are essential for a qualified approach to the critically ill patient. The major intervention project was developed and described according to the project methodology and supported by Myra Estrin Levine's holistic conceptual model. Its purpose was to improve the quality and safety of the care provided to critically ill patients with suspected sepsis or septic shock. The completion of this report made it possible to describe the whole formative journey and make a reasoned, critical and thoughtful analysis of the whole process of obtaining and developing skills from nurse specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing to the Person in Critical Situation and those with a Master's degree in nursing
