Abstract(s)
O crescente avanço da tecnologia vem influenciando interesse de crianças cada vez mais jovens, contribuindo para o rápido desinteresse por brinquedos. Sendo um sector com grande concorrência e necessidade de inovação constante, é percebível que o sector de indústrias de brinquedos do Brasil vem investindo em linhas de brinquedos focados para crianças a baixo de 3 anos de idade, onde o brinquedo possui um papel importante para o desenvolvimento das crianças.
O objetivo desse estudo é perceber qual a natureza do conhecimento de pais e educadores infantis que deve ser considerada em uma abordagem de design thinking ao desenvolvimento de brinquedos voltados para o público de 0 a 3 anos de idade, e em que etapa da abordagem esses devem ser explorados. O processo de investigação discorre sobre o entendimento do desenvolvimento do design como uma ferramenta de inovação, assim como o estudo do brinquedo e o seu sector atuante no Brasil. Através do estudo de caso de pais e educadores infantis, foi desejado encontrar informações e funções em que os mesmos pudessem contribuir durante o processo de design de brinquedos.
The advancement of technology has been influencing the interest of increasingly young children, contributing to the rapid disinterest in toys. Being a sector with big competition and constant necessity of innovation, it is noticeable that the Brazilian toy industries has been investing in products focused on children under 3 years old, where the toy has an important role for development of children. The objective of this study is to understand the nature of the knowledge of parents and early childhood educators that should be considered in a design thinking process to the development of toys for kids of 0 to 3 year old, and which part of the design thinking process they should be explored. The investigation process discusses the understanding of the development of design as an innovation tool, as well as the study of toys and their sector in Brazil. Through the case study of parents and early childhood educators, it was aimed at finding information and functions in which they could contribute during the toy design process.
