Abstract(s)
aprendizagem.
To be a teacher in Higher Education, today, face several challenges. The first one is related with the increasing heterogeneity of students. The second one comes from the new methods, as e-learning and the application of information technologies to higher education. Finally, we faced a shift from the traditional paradigm of teaching to the new paradigm of learning. This paper describes the pedagogical experience in International Management, a discipline of the last year in five courses at Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais, from Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. In this discipline, we use classes and a web page. To shift the centre of learning process from the teacher to the student, we discuss case studies and the student have to right a case based on the real experience of a Portuguese company. First results reveal a strong adherence from the students, better grades, but some resistance appear in the role played by the students in the learning process.
