Abstract(s)
As “Cerimónias Militares” devem ser mais do que um mero acumular de militares,
num determinado local para celebrar um acontecimento. Existe já um conjunto de
formalidades, de regras e de procedimentos pensados e escritos em documentos legais
próprios que devem ser cumpridos.
Foram estudados dois tipos de cerimónias militares: o Hastear/Arriar da Bandeira
Nacional e as Comemorações do dia de cada Ramo e do Dia das Forças Armadas. O objetivo
geral deste trabalho consiste em observar, analisar e verificar até que ponto se estará a
cumprir o que está superiormente determinado para o Cerimonial Militar nas FFAA. A
pergunta de partida colocada foi a seguinte: Estão as cerimónias militares do Hastear/Arriar
da Bandeira Nacional, dos Dias de Comemoração de cada Ramo das FFAA e das FFAA, de
acordo com as formalidades do Cerimonial Militar?
Para a realização do presente trabalho individual foi utilizado um raciocínio hipotéticodedutivo,
testando hipóteses e avaliando indicadores através de análise documental,
entrevistas semiestruturadas e observações, de acordo com um modelo de análise.
Identificaram-se algumas situações que não obedecem ao que está determinado em
regulamentação legal.
Por fim, foram efetuadas algumas recomendações para possíveis alterações nos
documentos legais que enquadram esta temática. Abstract: “Military Ceremonies" should be more than a mere gathering of military staff, in a
predetermined site so as to celebrate some happening or event. There is already a set of
formalities, rules and procedures thought and written on proper legal documents which
should be carried out.
Two types of military ceremonies have been studied: the Hoisting/Lowering of the flag and
the National Day Celebrations of each Military Branch and the Armed Forces Day. The
general purpose of this work consists of observing, analyzing, and verifying to what extent
it is being carried out what has been superiorly determined to the Military Ceremonial in
the Armed Forces. The starting question was the following: Are the Hoisting/Lowering of
the National Flag in the military ceremonies on each branch National Day and the Armed
Forces National Day in accordance with the formalities of the Military Ceremonial.
To the accomplishment of the present individual work, a hypothetical-deductive reasoning
was followed, testing hypotheses and assessing indicators through document studies, semistructured
interviews and observations, according to an analysis model.
Some non compliant with the legally determined situations have been identified.
Finally, some recommendations, to possible legal document alterations, which contain this
subject, have been pointed out.
