| dc.description.abstract | As restrições orçamentais que a Força Aérea tem vivido, fruto da conjuntura político-económica que o país atravessa, impõem a necessidade de rever os procedimentos logísticos no âmbito das inspeções programadas às aeronaves, especialmente em 3º escalão. Através de um estudo de caso e um raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo, avaliou-se a exequibilidade de se efetuar, de forma eficiente, o 3º Escalão na Força Aérea, com base nos Sistemas de Armas que já o realizam na atualidade, bem como identificar fatores a considerar no caso de outros Sistemas de Armas avançarem para o mesmo procedimento. Os objetivos específicos desta investigação são: avaliar se é economicamente mais vantajoso efetuar o 3º escalão na Força Aérea; avaliar se o tempo de imobilização das aeronaves na Força Aérea é menor do que numa entidade externa; avaliar se a Força Aérea consegue cumprir com os requisitos técnicos inerentes a este tipo de inspeção; Para o estudo proposto foi elaborado um mapa conceptual, análise bibliográfica e entrevistas a especialistas desta temática. Este trabalho permitiu concluir que, caso estejam assegurados os recursos necessários, o suporte técnico e suporte logístico, consegue-se melhorar a eficiência das inspeções de 3º escalão na Força Aérea, desde que o objetivo final esteja bem definido. Abstract: The Portuguese Air Force experienced budgetary constraints as a result of the political and economic situation that the county is suffering. This situation led to major challenges in the logistic support of the Weapon Systems, more particularly in the heavy maintenance. Through a case study and the use of a hypothetical-deductive reasoning, was evaluated the possibility to conducting more efficiently, in the Air Force, a heavy maintenance, for the Weapon Systems that already realize it, as well to identify factors in case another system proceed to the same process. The specific objectives presented for this research are: evaluate if it is economically more advantageous to perform heavy maintenance in the Air Force; evaluate if the downtime in the Air Force is less than in other external contractor; evaluate if the Air Force comply with the technical issues requested in the heavy maintenance. It was elaborated a conceptual map, bibliographic analysis and interviews. This research led to the conclusion that in case of the resources, technical support and logistic support are assured, we can perform a more efficient heavy maintenance in the Air Force, since that are defined the final objective. | pt_PT |
