O presente estudo surge no âmbito do Mestrado de Qualificação para a Docência em Educação Pré-escolar e no decurso de um estágio curricular, tendo como tema o contributo das histórias para o desenvolvimento das diversas áreas curriculares ao nível da Educação Pré-escolar.
Pretende-se com este trabalho compreender a importância que as histórias assumem durante o desenvolvimento das diversas áreas curriculares em crianças na faixa etária entre três e quatro anos, nomeadamente a matemática, a expressão plástica, o conhecimento do Mundo.
Através da implementação e desenvolvimento de atividades dinâmicas e apelativas em torno de histórias infantis, procurou-se, através deste estudo, responder à seguinte questão: De que forma o contar histórias motiva as crianças a adquirirem novas aprendizagens sendo assim mais fácil entenderem os novos conceitos?
Atendendo aos objetivos do estudo e à questão levantada, optou-se por realizar o estudo em contexto de estágio, com um grupo de 21 crianças com idades compreendidas entre os 3 e os 4 anos. Nesta presente investigação é utilizado o paradigma interpretativo.
The following case appeared in the context of a Master’s degree in qualification for de pre-school teaching and during a curricular internship. The chosen topic was the contribution of stories for the development of the various curriculum areas at the level of pre-school. The aim of this work to understand the importance that the stories take during the development of the various curricular areas in children aged between three and four years, including mathematics, artistic expression, the world of knowledge Trought the making and development of dynamic activities around children’s stories it is wanted, with this study, to answer the following question: in what way does storytelling motivate children to acquire new learnings, making it easier to understand new concepts? Taking the study’s objectives into account and the previous question, there was an option to make a study in an internship context with a group of twenty-one children with ages between three and four years. In this referred investigation the interpretative paradigma was used.
