Abstract(s)
hipertrigliceridémia e a Colangiopancreatografia Retrógrada Endoscópica (CPRE).
A literatura
A analgesia dirigida
Especialização PSC, que me permitirá obter o grau de Mestre (Diário da República, 2006;
Acute pancreatitis is an inflammatory disease of the pancreas with several etiologies, the most common being gallstones, excessive alcohol consumption, hypertriglyceridemia and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). This pathology causes increased morbidity, prolonged hospitalisations and mortality, which accounts for 5% globally (Taylor & Docking, 2020). There are several classifications and predictors that can be used to assess acute pancreatitis, and it is imperative that measures are taken as early as possible. Literature recommend pain management to promote symptom improvement, thus I will address Pain Management in Critically Ill Patients with Acute Pancreatitis - Specialised Nursing Intervention. The relationship established between the nurse, the person and the family promotes comfort through individualised interventions in pain management. Analgesia directed to critically ill patients with Acute Pancreatitis includes pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions. The need to develop specialized skills in this area of nursing care arises within the scope of the 12th Master's Degree Course in Nursing in the Specialization Area of Critically Ill patient, which will allow me to obtain a Master's degree (Diário da República, 2006; Diário da República, 2022; ESEL, 2022) and, likewise, obtain the title of specialist (Diário da República, 2018; Diário da República, 2019), through the Ordem dos Enfermeiros. The academic path culminates in this report, which comprises the skills developed by me in the intensive care and emergency settings. In this sense, the main activities carried out in the internship context will be presented to the critically ill patient and family who were the target of my care, with a view to developing my skills as a Nurse, with the main purpose of developing specialist nursing skills in pain management in critically ill patient with Acute Pancreatitis.
