Abstract(s)
Permite
uma logística focada numa distribuição abrangente, eficiente e ágil, integrando todas as
The importance of information alignment is highlighted, throughout the whole Supply Chain process, especially in its last link, the last mile. Not only because it is one of the most important parts of this complex and dynamic process, but also because it is the image of hard work and many companies behind a delivery. Having said this, the companies' main concern then falls on new ways of competing, in parallel with the advance and increase of E-commerce. Looking for tools and/or methodologies that allow them to increase their productivity, with low and competitive costs. Over time, the Customer has become even more the center of all actions and the focus. The objective is to satisfy them, on the day and time required, at the lowest possible cost. In this area, every minute counts and the time the product takes to be prepared until it is delivered to the end consumer must be as short as possible. Thanks to this, supply chain management is entirely linked to continuous improvement. This dissertation is mainly based on the Last Mile and the developed Dashboard and in turn find the solution that allows to internally monitor the distribution. Being able to track the planned route with the actual route and delivery to the final Customer, recording and analyzing the actual times, during the transport process. As well as allowing the quick identification of a certain order and speeding up what is needed, in a quick and simple way, relying on the support of the Contact Centre. In turn, and with its development, the possible implementation of the Dashboard is a considerable improvement for our activity. It allows for comprehensive, efficient and agile logistics focused on distribution, integrating all operations on a single, consistent technological platform. It also allows maximum planning and optimization of all resources. As well as fundamentally the holistic view and traceability of any order, in distribution.
