À Condição Policial está associado o risco no cumprimento das suas atribuições
legais. Esse cenário de risco, por vezes, conduz a que alguns profissionais sofram acidentes
de trabalho com maior ou menor gravidade. Após a alta clínica deverá propiciar-se o
caminho da Reintegração Profissional dos Polícias que ficam com Deficiência.
Pretende-se através deste estudo de caso, por um lado analisar a componente
legislativa internacional e nacional sobre este tema e analisar um dos modelos de
intervenção existentes em Portugal na área da reintegração das pessoas com deficiência, e
por outro lado verificar o que existe no campo da Reintegração dos Polícias com
Deficiência, na Polícia de Segurança Pública.
Intenta perspetivar e demonstrar a necessidade de aplicar um modelo reintegrativo
na Polícia de Segurança Pública que prime por saber lidar com os Polícias com Deficiência
e que lhes fomente pela antecipação a materialização de condições adequadas que potencie
ganhos pessoais e laborais de eficácia e eficiência e desta forma, também, promover
políticas inclusivas no seio da Instituição Policial.
The police condition is associated with risk in the fulfillment of their legal duties. This risk scenario, sometimes, leads to occupational accidents of greater or lesser severity. After clinical discharge, the path of professional reintegration of the officers with disabilities should be provided. The aim of this case study is to examine, on the one hand, the international and national legislative component on this subject and to examine one of the existing models of intervention in Portugal in the area of the reintegration of people with disabilities, and, on the other hand, to verify what exists in the field of reintegration of Officers with disabilities in to the Public Security Police. Aims to perspective and demonstrate the need to apply a reintegrative model in the Police that primes for knowing how to deal with the Police with Disabilities and that promotes them by anticipating the materialization of appropriate conditions that potentiate personal gains effective and efficient personnel and labour, and in this way, also promote inclusive policies with in the Police Institution.
