Abstract(s)

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo principal estudar e analisar a evolução da Direcção Técnica do Tiro de Artilharia de Campanha, em Portugal. Com este tema pretende-se identificar e decompor toda a evolução dos processos de cálculo do tiro utilizados em Portugal. Desta forma, o leitor pode ficar a conhecer métodos de cálculo distintos no âmbito da Direcção Técnica do Tiro de Artilharia de Campanha. Estes métodos têm sido a formação base das diferentes gerações de oficiais da Arma de Artilharia. Para concretizar este objectivo, procedeu-se ao estudo dos métodos e processos de cálculo de tiro utilizados pela Artilharia de Campanha, desde a Primeira Guerra Mundial até ao presente, abordando separadamente as épocas em que ocorreram as alterações mais significativas.

Abstract The main objective of the present work is to investigate and analyze the development of Technical Fire Control of Field Artillery, in Portugal. With this study we intend to identify and decompose the whole progress regarding fire calculation processes used in Portugal. Hence, the reader will have the possibility of getting to know different methods of calculations, within the scope of technical fire control of Field Artillery. These methods have been of utmost importance in the training of different generations of Artillery officers. To reach that goal, we have studied the methods and procedures of fire calculation used by Field Artillery since the First World War up to now, focusing on the times when the most significant changes occurred.
