| dc.description.abstract | Este relatório é a consumação entre o percurso académico e o estágio da aluna na clínica Dierenartsencentrum Plus (DAC-Plus), através do programa Erasmus+, na vila de Beveren, na Bélgica, que se desenvolveu entre o dia 12 de fevereiro e 6 de maio de 2024. Durante o período de estágio, a aluna desenvolveu as mais diversas atividades, nomeadamente, auxílio em cirurgias, destartarizações, contenção de pacientes, recuperação e recobro, administração de fármacos, auxílio em meios complementares de diagnóstico, exames laboratoriais e outros cuidados de enfermagem. Contudo, o mais importante, e de encontro ao tema do presente relatório, foi o auxílio da aluna nos momentos antes, durante e após as OV por laparoscopia. Com isto, a estagiária ficou a conhecer a realidade de um CAMV e como esta profissão exige um estudo contínuo ao longo do percurso profissional com vista a proporcionar o melhor serviço possível a colegas, pacientes e tutores. Ao longo do relatório, vai ser possível compreender a importância dos CAMV proporcionarem cirurgias minimamente invasivas, de modo a tornar a recuperação destes procedimentos mais leve e fácil tanto para pacientes como para tutores, tornando-se, deste modo, um diferencial entre os estabelecimentos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report is the end product of the student's academic career and final internship at the Dierenartsencentrum Plus (DAC-Plus) clinic, through the Erasmus program, in the town of Beveren, Belgium, which took place between February 12 and May 6, 2024. During the student’s internship, the intern worked in numerous activities, including assisting in surgeries, deep dental cleaning, restraining patients, recovery of patients, administering drugs, assisting with diagnosis methods, laboratory tests and other nursing care. However, the most important part, and according with the theme of this report, was helping in the moments before, during and after laparoscopic ovariectomy. Due to this, the student learned about the reality of a veterinary clinic and how this profession requires continuous study throughout her professional career in order to provide the best possible service to colleagues, patients and tutors. Throughout the report, it will be possible to understand the importance of the clinics providing minimally invasive surgeries, in order to make recovery from these procedures lighter and easier for both patients and tutors. With this detail, the clinic will become a differentiator between others. | pt_PT |
