Abstract(s)
O presente estudo foi desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio curricular, integrado no Mestrado em Gestão de Recursos Humanos, no hotel Jupiter Lisboa. Este, tem como objetivo a descrição e a análise de duas práticas da gestão de recursos humanos, especificamente, o recrutamento e seleção e o acolhimento e integração, ou também denominado, socialização organizacional, na instituição referenciada. Como tal, procedeu-se à elaboração de uma revisão de literatura tendo como base livros técnicos, manuais, artigos científicos, jornais e revistas on-line relevantes para obter um conhecimento geral e específico. Primeiramente abordou-se o conceito e a evolução da gestão de recursos humanos, bem como as respetivas práticas e a relação com o setor hoteleiro, tendo em conta diversos autores. Sequencialmente, fundamentou-se os construtos do recrutamento e seleção e acolhimento e integração, clarificando os seus conceitos, as metodologias e a importância da sua favorável fomentação na hotelaria. É realizada uma descrição da unidade hoteleira e das tarefas no Departamento de Recursos Humanos. Seguidamente apresenta-se uma análise agregadora entre a experiência do estágio e a revisão de literatura, no qual se identificam os pontos fortes e fracos, ameaças e oportunidades em três perspetivas, a organizacional, a departamental e a pessoal. Por último, com base nas perspetivas fundamentam-se propostas de melhoria que visam diminuir os valores de absentismo e de turnover no setor hoteleiro.
The present study was developed in the following of my curricular internship, integrated in the Master's degree in Human Resources Management, in the hotel Jupiter Lisboa. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyse two human resource practices, specifically recruitment and selection and integration, or also called by socialization organizational, in the enterprise. As such, a review of the literature was carried out, based on technical books, manuals, scientific journals, magazines and online magazines, in order to have a general and specific knowledge. Firstly, the concept and evolution of human resources management, as well as the respective practices and the interface with the hotel sector, taking into account several authors. Sequentially, the recruitment and selection and integration were studied, clarifying their concepts, the methodologies and the importance of their fomentation in the hotel industry. It is also carried out a description of the hotel unit and the tasks in Human Resources department. The following is an analysis between the internship experience and the literature review, where it is identified the strengths, the weaknesses, the threats and the opportunities in three perspectives the organizational, departmental and personal. Finally, based on the perspectives, improvement proposals are designated to reduce the values of absenteeism and turnover in the hotel sector.
