O presente Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada aborda o seguinte tema: âA atuação
de forças do ExĂ©rcito nas NATO Response Force, e a forma como estas contribuem para o produto Operacional do ExĂ©rcitoâ, tendo em conta o esclarecimento e a identificação dos efeitos produzidos pelas mesmas.
O objetivo da investigação, em questĂŁo, visa a identificação das consequĂȘncias de
participação de forças numa NATO Response Force, inerente Ă sua organização, ao seu treino operacional, ao equipamento necessĂĄrio e contributos para a constituição de uma Força Nacional Destacada. Pretende-se determinar a influĂȘncia das NATO Response Force nas forças operacionais de escalĂŁo batalhĂŁo, que tenham cumprido o ciclo NATO Response Force-Força Nacional Destacada. A realização da investigação assentou na pesquisa/anĂĄlise bibliogrĂĄfica e documental, que serviu de base Ă concretização de um guiĂŁo de entrevista, com o qual se pretendeu responder a todas as questĂ”es, bem como a verificação das hipĂłteses delineadas durante o processo, alcançando, deste modo, a resposta Ă seguinte questĂŁo central: âQuais os efeitos do emprego de Forças do ExĂ©rcito nas NATO Response Force?â. O mĂ©todo cientĂfico indutivo aplicado na elaboração da investigação baseia-se na anĂĄlise qualitativa sob a forma de estudo caso. ApĂłs a anĂĄlise e a discussĂŁo dos resultados, concluĂmos que os principais efeitos nas forças sĂŁo: a adaptação da organização e dos equipamentos, que estĂŁo em quadro orgĂąnico, aos requisitos da Organização do Tratado do AtlĂąntico Norte. A existĂȘncia de mecanismos de certificação no treino operacional da força, sendo o desenho de todo o ciclo de treino da NATO Response Force o principal contributo para a constituição de uma Força Nacional Destacada, uma vez que a força NATO Response Force Ă© submetida a um processo de treino, certificação e manutenção do nĂvel operacional exigido.
Abstract This Work of Applied Research is about the following topic: "The action of Army forces in NATO Response Force and how these contribute to the product Army Operational", taking into account the clarification and identification of effects produced by them. The aim of the research in question, concerns the identification of the consequences of participation in NATO Response forces, inherent in its organization, its operational training, the equipment required and its contribution to the establishment of a National Force Outstanding. Intends to determine the influence of the NATO Response Forces on the operating forces of battalion level, which have completed the NATO Response ForceNational Force Outstanding cycle. The realization of this investigation was elaborated through a research and a bibliographic and documentary analysis, which formed the basis for the realization of an interview guide, which purpose is answering all questions as well as doing the verification of the hypotheses outlined in the process, reaching, thus, the solution to the following question: "What are the effects of employing Army Forces in the NATO Response Forces?". The inductive scientific method applied in the preparation of research is based on qualitative analysis in the form of case study. After analysis and discussion of the results, we conclude that the main effects in the forces are: adapting the organization and the equipment, which are in an organic framework, to the requirements of North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The existence of certification mechanisms in the operational training of the force, and the design of all operational training NATO Response Force the main contribution to the formation of a National Force Outstanding, once the NATO Response Force is subjected to a process of training, certification and maintenance of the highest operational level required.
