O presente relatório reflete um processo de desenvolvimento profissional
realizado no âmbito do mestrado em enfermagem de saúde materna e obstétrica, com
foco na violência sexual contra a mulher.
A escolha deste tema resulta do reconhecimento da sua complexidade clínica,
ética e social, bem como da convicção de que a enfermeira especialista em enfermagem
de saúde materna e obstétrica, em virtude da natureza relacional e especializada da
sua prática, pode desempenhar um papel determinante na promoção de respostas mais
humanizadas, seguras e dignas para estas mulheres.
O percurso formativo baseia-se numa revisão narrativa da literatura e numa
análise crítica sobre as atividades realizadas ao longo dos diferentes ensinos clínicos.
A teoria do cuidado humano de Jean Watson constitui o principal quadro teórico, em
articulação com o modelo de cuidados centrados na mulher e o modelo de cuidados
informados pelo trauma, os quais reforçam a necessidade de uma prática clínica
assente na escuta, no respeito, na dignidade e na promoção da autonomia da mulher.
Durante este processo formativo foi possível desenvolver competências comuns
da enfermeira especialista, competências específicas da enfermeira especialista em
saúde materna e obstétrica e competências de grau de mestre, através da prestação
de cuidados, da dinamização de atividades formativas, da elaboração de ferramentas
de apoio à prática e da análise crítica dos cuidados prestados.
O relatório evidencia, portanto, não só a aquisição de competências
especializadas no âmbito da violência sexual contra a mulher, mas também a
consolidação de uma identidade profissional consciente, reflexiva e comprometida com
os direitos, a dignidade e o bem-estar das mulheres.
This report reflects a process of professional development conducted within the master’s degree in maternal and obstetric health nursing, focusing on sexual violence against women. The choice of this topic stems from the recognition of its clinical, ethical, and social complexity, as well as from the conviction that the specialist nurse in maternal and obstetric health nursing, by virtue of the relational and specialised nature of her practice, can play a decisive role in promoting more humanised, safer, and more dignified responses for these women. This educational journey is based on a narrative literature review and on critical analysis about the activities conducted throughout the different clinical placements. Jean Watson’s theory of human caring constituted the main theoretical framework, in articulation with the woman-centred care model and the trauma-informed care model, which reinforce the need for clinical practice grounded in listening, respect, dignity, and the promotion of women´s autonomy. Throughout this journey, it was possible to develop the common competencies of the specialist nurse, the specific competencies of the specialist nurse in maternal and obstetric health nursing, and master’s level competencies, through the provision of care, the development of educational activities, the preparation of practice-support tools, and the critical analysis of care provided. This report therefore highlights not only the acquisition of specialised competencies in sexual violence against woman, but also the consolidation of a conscious, reflective, and ethically committed professional identity, centred on the rights, dignity, and well-being of women.
