Abstract(s)
O relatório de estágio pretende explanar o processo de aprendizagem clínico que realizei, com
vista a alcançar o grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área da pessoa em
situação perioperatória. Futuramente a especialidade supramencionada irá revestir-se de uma
maior importância ao nível da qualidade e segurança na prestação de cuidados perioperatórios,
visto que o número de procedimentos cirúrgicos no mundo tem aumentado consideravelmente.
O estágio de natureza profissional decorreu nos contextos de bloco operatório central e bloco
operatório de especialidade de ortopedia. Este relatório pretende demonstrar e expor as
aprendizagens desenvolvidas na prática com a finalidade de aquisição das competências
comuns da Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica e das competências específicas da Enfermagem
Médico-Cirúrgica na área da pessoa em situação perioperatória. Integrado neste processo de
aquisição de competências pretende-se o desenvolvimento e implementação de um projeto de
estágio referente à consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória telefónica.
A consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória é uma ação que tem como finalidade conhecer o
cliente previamente à sua ida ao bloco operatório e dotá-lo de conhecimento sobre o percurso
cirúrgico de acordo com as suas necessidades. A avaliação pré-operatória de enfermagem tem o
propósito de iniciar o processo de decisão clínica, onde se avaliam os dados para a identificação
de necessidades em cuidados ao cliente. O desenvolvimento do projeto tem como objetivo
estruturar e implementar a consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória telefónica, com a finalidade
de melhorar a experiência cirúrgica do cliente cirúrgico.
Através da aplicação da consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória telefónica pretendeu-se
melhorar a preparação do cliente para o seu processo cirúrgico, garantindo a transmissão de
informações/conhecimentos relevantes para promover a sua autonomia e capacidade de
decisão sobre o seu processo de saúde. Posteriormente realizou-se a avaliação do cumprimento
de atitudes e a aquisição do conhecimento para aferir se as intervenções educativas préoperatórias
iniciadas na consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória telefónica tiveram adesão por
parte dos clientes.
Apesar da existência de evidência científica que reconhece a importância da consulta de
enfermagem pré-operatória, na prática clínica diária nos hospitais a aplicação desta consulta
não é uma realidade. A consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória é um momento privilegiado
para que o enfermeiro possa autonomamente implementar ações de enfermagem com impacto
na qualidade dos processos de saúde das pessoas em situação perioperatória
The internship report aims to justify the clinical learning process that I undertook, with a purpose to achieve a Medical-Surgical Nursing Master's degree in Perioperative Nursing. In the future, the aforementioned nursing specialty will take on greater importance in terms of quality and safety in the provision of perioperative care, as the number of surgical procedures in the world has increased considerably. The professional internship took place in the context of a central operating room and an orthopedic specialty operating room. This report aims to demonstrate and expose the learning developed in practice with the purpose of acquiring common skills in Medical-Surgical Nursing and specific skills in Perioperative Nursing. Integrated into this skills acquisition process, the aim is to develop and implement an internship project regarding telephone preoperative nursing consultation. The preoperative nursing consultation is an action that aims to get to know the client prior to their visit to the operating room and provide them with knowledge about the surgical path according to their needs. The preoperative nursing assessment aims to initiate the clinical decision process, where data is evaluated to identify client care needs. The development of the project aims to structure and implement the telephone preoperative nursing consultation, with the aim of improving the surgical experience of the surgical client. Through the application of the telephone preoperative nursing consultation, the aim was to improve the client's preparation for their surgical process, ensuring the transmission of relevant information/knowledge to promote their autonomy and decision-making capacity regarding their health process. Subsequently, an assessment of compliance with attitudes and knowledge acquisition was carried out to assess whether the preoperative educational interventions initiated in the telephone pr-operative nursing consultation were adhered to by clients. Despite the existence of scientific evidence that recognizes the importance of preoperative nursing consultation, in daily clinical practice in hospitals the application of this consultation is not a reality. The preoperative nursing consultation is a privileged moment for nurses to autonomously implement nursing actions that impact the quality of health processes for people in the perioperative situation.
