Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação tem como objetivo compreender se a capacidade de alojamento de Lisboa satisfaz os participantes de num evento associativo, e de que modo, estes comunicam positivamente a sua experiência em Lisboa. Desta forma, a investigação é apresentada em duas etapas.
Na primeira etapa realiza-se a investigação bibliográfica, visando o estudo do setor turístico, o turismo de negócios e o segmento meetings industry, compreendendo os conceitos e importância, no ponto de vista nacional e internacional.
A segunda parte é composta pela avaliação dos resultados obtidos na 104ª Convenção Anual do Rotary International, com o fim de averiguar a satisfação dos participantes com as condições oferecidas pelo setor hoteleiro. Uma vez que a satisfação dos participantes favorece a comunicação positiva da cidade de Lisboa, promovendo o desejo de regressar à cidade e o incentivo aos participantes e dos seus pares.
The objective of this research is to understand if the accommodation capacity of Lisbon can satisfy the participants of a meeting, and how they will communicate their positive experience in Lisbon. Therefore, this study is presented in two parts. The first step consists in a literature research, to study the tourist sector, business travel tourism and the meetings industry, in a nationally and internationally point of view. In the second part, the results obtained in the 104Th Annual Convention of Rotary International are examined, in order to understand if the participants were satisfied with the conditions that were offered in the accommodation. This satisfaction allows a positive communication of Lisbon, resulting in the desire and incentive for participants and their peers to return to Lisbon.
