No âmbito do curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Comunitária na área Saúde Comunitária e de Saúde Pública, realizou-se o estágio de natureza profissional que resulta no presente relatório, que tem como objetivo descrever e analisar as atividades que contribuíram para a aquisição das competências do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária na área de Enfermagem de Saúde Comunitária e de Saúde Pública.
A componente de estágio desenvolveu-se em dois contextos da prática clínica: uma Unidade de Saúde Pública e uma Unidade de Cuidados na Comunidade de um Agrupamento de Centros de Saúde, com uma duração de 510 horas divididas de igual forma pelas unidades de saúde.
O desenvolvimento das atividades foi norteado pelas etapas do Planeamento em Saúde, enquanto processo permanente, contínuo e dinâmico. Realizou-se o diagnóstico da situação dos docentes e não docentes das escolas da área de abrangência das unidades de saúde referidas que caracterizou a necessidade de saúde da alimentação, que é considerada um determinante da saúde modificável. Na sequência, elaborou-se e implementou-se o projeto Saber Comer com a finalidade de promover a adesão da população ao padrão alimentar saudável e com uma duração prevista de três anos letivos. Como estratégias de intervenção recorreu-se à educação para a saúde, marketing social e parcerias. Foram implementadas atividades como o world café, o jogo, a produção e divulgação de cartazes e vídeos e a construção do website Educar com Saúde (educarcomsaude.pt).
A avaliação do projeto, nomeadamente em relação ao indicador de impacto, está prevista para o fim da sua implementação, pelo que ainda não ocorreu. Foram estabelecidas metas cujo alcance está definido para uma data posterior ao término do estágio de natureza profissional. Face a este constrangimento, foi realizada uma monitorização do projeto. Verificou-se que a adesão dos docentes e não docentes apresenta valores que se aproximam da meta. Relativamente à satisfação com as atividades executadas até à data de término do estágio de natureza profissional, foram encontrados valores superiores à meta.
Descrevem-se outras atividades que contribuíram para a aquisição das competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária na área Saúde Comunitária e de Saúde Pública.
Está ainda presente uma reflexão crítica sobre a aquisição de competências, fundamentando a razões para a sua assunção.
This report is the result of a professional internship carried out within the scope of the Community Nursing Master's course in Community Health and Public Health. The aim is to describe and analyse the activities that contributed to the acquisition of skills of the Specialist Nurse in Community Nursing in the subject of Community Health Nursing and Public Health. The internship took place in two clinical practice settings: a Public Health Unit and a Community Care Unit within a Health Centre Group, with a total of 510 hours evenly distributed between the two health units. The activities developed were guided by the stages of Health Planning as a permanent, continuous, and dynamic process. A diagnosis of the situation of both teachers and non-teaching staff was conducted in schools within the catchment area of the mentioned health units. This diagnosis characterized the health need related to nutrition, which is considered a modifiable health determinant. Subsequently, the Saber Comer project was developed and implemented with the aim of promoting the population's adherence to a healthy eating pattern, with an expected duration of three academic years. As intervention strategies, health education, social marketing and partnerships were included. There were implemented activities such as the World Café, games, production and dissemination of posters and videos, and the creation of the website Educar com Saúde (educarcomsaude.pt). The project evaluation, particularly regarding the impact indicator, is scheduled for the end of its implementation, which has not yet occurred. Goals have been established; however, their achievement is set for a date after the end of the professional internship. Given this constraint, project monitoring has been conducted. It was found that the adherence of both teachers and non-teaching staff is close to the goal. Regarding satisfaction with the activities carried out up to the end of the professional internship, there were found values exceeding the goal. Other activities contributing to the acquisition of both common and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Community Nursing in the subject of Community Health and Public Health are described. Additionally, there is a critical reflection on competency acquisition, providing reasons for its assumption.
