Abstract(s)
interpretativo, a investigação qualitativa e a investigação-ação.
This report, developed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Pre- School Education, presents a cross-sectional study of the two internship contexts, daycare and kindergarten, carried out within the scope of the Internship Curricular Units in Early Childhood Education I, II and III during two moments internship, one in each context. The theme of the research project is “Music in daycare and kindergarten” and aimed to understand how the cooperating educators promoted and explored music in daycare and kindergarten classrooms. It was, based on the defined objective, that I sought to answer the research question: “How to enhance music in nursery and kindergarten classrooms?”. The methodology used to carry out this investigation was the interpretative paradigm, qualitative research and action research. Techniques and instruments for collecting information in the development of research include observation, field notes, photographic records and interviews with cooperating educators. Based on the information collected, the observations and interventions carried out were described and analyzed, mobilizing the conceptions of the cooperating educators obtained through the interviews. Throughout the report I tried to reflect based on observations, dialogues and field notes made in each context. I understood, above all, that music is a topic that must be increasingly explored and valued, enhancing all the factors involved in it. The role of the educator stands out, who must provide moments and spaces for participation, involvement and active listening for all children, regardless of their specificities. Music should be explored in early childhood education, respecting children's needs and interests.
