O tema deste trabalho é a II Guerra do Iraque, tendo como objectivo a identificação dos seus pontos de culminação. É analisada a campanha de Rommel no Norte de Africa, como exemplo típico dos pontos de culminação. Seguidamente é analisada a operação Iraqi Freedom, constatando-se a existência de uma culminação ao nível da estratégia militar americana.
Abstract The subject of this paper is the Second Gulf War, aiming the identification of their culmination points. Rommel’s campaign was analyzed,as an example of culmination points. After analyzing Operation Iraqi Freedom, it was found the existence of a culmination point, regarding the US military strategy.
