O objectivo deste trabalho foi contribuir para um melhor conhecimento da qualidade ambiental da indústria corticeira, com a análise da evolução dos efluentes residuais libertados pelas indústrias corticeiras (líquidos e gasosos), comparando com os valores da legislação vigente.
Para a recolha dos dados estatísticos foi efectuado um estágio no Centro Tecnológico de Cortiça, acompanhando-se também as actividades desenvolvidas, laboratoriais e de recolha de material para análise (rolhas, pavimentos, isolantes, águas e processamento de fumos).
Tendo como ponto de partida análises feitas aos efluentes líquidos e gasosos efectuados para os estudos de caracterização ambiental de 17 corticeiras (1998/1999), estudou-se o seguimento de análises das mesmas, até à actualidade.
A análise dos dados foi feita por meio de gráficos simples, comparando valores médios dos parâmetros das corticeiras estudadas com os limites permitidos pelas normas estabelecidas.
Observou-se uma fraca assiduidade de acompanhamento de análises aos efluentes líquidos e gasosos, mas verificou-se que as corticeiras acompanhadas, na maioria dos parâmetros, têm valores dentro dos permitidos.
This study aims to give a contribution to a better knowledge of the Cork industry environmental quality, by analyzing the evolution of effluents released by cork industries (liquid and gaseous), comparing it with the permitted extent by the legislation. For the collection of statistical data was made a stage in the Cork Technologic Centre, also tracking other activities, laboratory and material collection for analysis (stoppers, floors, insulation, water and smoke analyses). As basis used the liquid and gaseous effluents analysis of the environmental adjusting contracts of 17 cork industries (1998/1999), it has studied the follow-up to today. The statistical data was done by using simple graphics, comparing the average values with the permitted extent by the rules. There was a low attendance follow-up of the liquid and gaseous analysis, but it was found, from analyzed cork industries, most parameters are within the allowed values.
