| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho de investigação versa sobre o tema “ A Guera de Manobra e os Conflitos de Baixa Intensidade”. O objetivo desta investigação é identificar e caracterizar quais foram as táticas, técnicas e procedimentos usados por forças de guerrilha contra forças convencionais, e pela Frente Libertadora do Vietname, que conduziram à vitória contra o Exército Francês. Pretende-se, ainda, caracterizar a forma como os Vietcongs e Exército do Povo do Vietname do norte derrotaram o Exército Norte Americano. Assim, esta investigação vai se fundamentar em exemplos práticos da I e II Guerra da Indochina, nomeadamente a Batalha de Hanói, Batalha de Dien Bien Phu e a ofensiva Vietnamita de Tet. Com o presente trabalho de investigação aplicada será possível concluir como forças subversivas Vietnamitas conseguiram derrotar numa primeira fase os Franceses e de seguida os Americanos. Com esta investigação pretendemos verificar se a aplicação do conceito de Guerra de Manobra poderá trazer vantagens em conflitos de natureza subversiva. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract The present investigation discusses the theme “The Maneuver War and Low Intensity Conflict”. The main goal of this investigation is to identify and characterize what were the tactics, techniques and procedures used by the guerrilla forces, and by the Liberation Front of Vietnam, which led to victory against the French Army. It is also intended to characterize the way the Vietcong and Vietnam’s North People Army defeated the conventional forces. Thus, this research will be based on practical examples of the I and II War of Indochina, specifically the Battle of Hanoi, Battle of Dien Phu and the offensive Vietnamese in Hanoi, Tet and Saigon. With this applied research work, it is also possible to conclude as the subversive Vietnamese forces managed to defeat initially the French and then the Americans. In this research, it is intended also to verify that the application of MW could bring advantages in subversive nature conflicts. | pt_PT |
