Este relatório investiga a implementação de um sistema Lean para a otimização do
manuseamento de materiais na ABC Automotive - Palmela. O objetivo central é melhorar
a eficiência operacional, reduzir os desperdícios e maximizar a produtividade. A
pesquisa é fundamentada numa análise rigorosa dos processos existentes e propõe
melhorias específicas, ancoradas nos princípios Lean e nas oportunidades
apresentadas.
Os resultados demonstram melhorias tangíveis na eficiência operacional, melhoria do
fluxo de materiais e redução de custos. A análise detalhada e as recomendações
subsequentes resultam em experiências valiosas para a implementação contínua de
práticas Lean, não apenas na ABC Automotive - Palmela, mas também em contextos
industriais semelhantes.
This report investigates the implementation of a Lean system for optimizing materials handling at ABC Automotive - Palmela. Central objective is to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste and maximize productivity. Research is based on a rigorous analysis of existing processes and proposes specific improvements, anchored in Lean principles and the opportunities presented. Results show tangible improvements in operational efficiency, optimization of material flow and cost reduction. Detailed analysis and subsequent recommendations result in valuable experience for the ongoing implementation of Lean practices, not only at ABC Automotive - Palmela, but also in similar industrial contexts.
