Abstract(s)
Este relatório apresenta uma revisão de literatura onde são abordadas temáticas como
a contextualização do Turismo de Saúde e Bem-Estar, assim como a descrição da unidade
hoteleira acolhedora e das funções desempenhadas durante o a duração do estágio.
O estágio foi realizado no Departamento de Reservas do Monchique Resort & Spa e
Vale da Ribeira Residences, sob a Supervisão da Dra. Lídia Nogueira, tendo totalizado a
carga horária de 712 horas, com início em julho e termino em novembro ano de 2019.
A escolha de uma vertente profissional/estágio no decorrer no final do curso, deve-se
porque na atual conjuntura trabalhar/estagiar num Hotel fora de Lisboa permitiria a
aquisição de um know-how, enquanto aluna e futura profissional. Abrir horizontes, ter um
maior contacto com o mundo do trabalho e adquirir um maior conhecimento das
necessidades dos empregadores na atualidade foi a razão de aceitar este desafio com
muita vontade, ambição e curiosidade, perante o futuro que se apressava a chegar, mas
com um sentimento de querer crescer profissionalmente e como pessoa.
Em termos de divisão, o presente relatório é constituído por cinco capítulos, sendo
que o primeiro apresenta uma contextualização sobre o turismo de Bem-Estar e Saúde e
sobre uma nova tendência o Welltality. Seguindo-se uma introdução à marca DHM e mais
especificamente ao Monchique Resort & Spa, o capítulo seguinte descreve o estágio
assim como todas as tarefas realizadas nesse período, por fim o relatório finaliza com
algumas propostas de valor que se supõe serem vantajosas para a entidade acolhedora,
terminando com algumas conclusões/considerações finais do tema abordado no
documento.
This report presents a literature review that addresses topics such as the contextualization of Health and Wellness tourism, as well as a full description of the welcoming hotel unit and the functions performed during the period of the internship. The internship was carried out in the Reservations Department of Monchique Resort & Spa and Vale da Ribeira Residences, under the supervision of Dr. Lídia Nogueira, with a total workload of 712 hours, starting in July and ending in November last year, 2019. The option of a professional aspect, since, in the current situation, that working / interning at a Hotel outside Lisbon, acquiring know-how, as a student and future professional. Opening up horizons, having a greater contact with the world of work and acquiring a greater knowledge of the needs of employers today was the reason for accepting this challenge with great desire, ambition and curiosity, in the face of the future that was hurrying to arrive, but with a feeling of wanting to grow professionally and as a person. In terms of division, this report consists of five chapters, the first of which contextualizes on Wellness and Health tourism and the presentation of a new trend, after which an introduction is made to the DHM brand and more specifically to Monchique Resort & Spa, the next chapter describes the internship as well as all the tasks carried out in that period. Finally, the report concludes with some value proposals that are supposed to be advantageous for the host entity, ending with some final conclusions / considerations of the topic addressed in the document.
