| dc.description.abstract | Face às alterações do actual campo de batalha, existe a necessidade de um maior desenvolvimento das técnicas e dos novos equipamentos a utilizar pelo observador aéreo para a maximização das suas capacidades. O presente trabalho tem como objectivos estudar e analisar a Observação Aérea em Portugal, a nível actual e a nível futuro. Numa primeira parte é feito um enquadramento histórico da observação aérea em Portugal, posteriormente as técnicas que foram aplicadas e os procedimentos inerentes a cada tipo de missão bem como um levantamento das suas vantagens e inconvenientes e a influência que tem no Processo de tomada de decisão do comandante. Por fim são efectuadas umas conclusões que demonstram a conveniência do reaparecimento do curso, para o Exército e em particular para a Artilharia de Campanha. Conclui-se que seria bastante vantajoso para o nosso Exército a reabertura do curso de observador aéreo, devido a factores como a futura aquisição de helicópteros pelo Exército como também a aquisição de UAV. Com este estudo propõe-se justificar uma eventual reabertura do curso de observador aéreo. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract Given the current changes in the battlefield, there is a need for further development of techniques and new equipment to be used by air observer to maximize their capabilities. The present work aims are to study and analyze aerial observation in Portugal, at current and future level. In a first part is made an historical background of aerial observation in Portugal, then the techniques that were applied and the procedures involved in each type of mission as well as a survey of its advantages and disadvantages and the influence it has on decision-making process of the commander. Finally the conclusions explain the convenience of the reappearance of the course for the Army in particular to the Field Artillery. It is concluded that it would be very helpful for our Army to reopen the course of air observer, due to factors such as the future purchase of helicopters by the Army as well as the acquisition of UAVs. With this study, it is proposed to justify a possible re-opening of the course of the air observer. | por |
