Perceção dos estudantes de gestão sobre o Ensino a Distância no Ensino Superior: um estudo exploratório em contexto pandémico

O Ensino a Distância tornou-se uma realidade cada vez mais presente no Ensino Superior. O contexto pandémico (Covid-19) que assolou o país e o mundo veio comprovar esta realidade e apresentar uma proposta diferente no ensino e até no modo de vida das pessoas. O presente estudo visa o levantamento de perceções e expetativas de estudantes de cursos de Gestão do Ensino Superior.
Para dar cumprimento ao objetivo traçado, foi utilizada uma metodologia quantitativa de investigação. Num primeiro momento, de forma a valorizar a Revisão da Literatura, foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica que visou identificar palavras, autores, publicações e países mais proeminentes. A bibliometria surge também de forma a dar algum destaque à presente investigação. Além disso, desenvolveu-se e aplicou-se um inquérito por questionário, obtendo- se 179 respostas para aferir sobre a perceção de estudantes de instituições de ensino superior relativamente à temática em estudo.
Os resultados obtidos através da análise quantitativa permitiram concluir que os estudantes consideram que no ensino a distância a interação é muito mais fraca com o professor e com os colegas da turma do que no ensino presencial. Além disso, foi possível inferir que o problema não está na resistência organizacional ou no preconceito em relação à modalidade. É provável que grande parte do problema assente na adaptação do sistema em si, ou se quisermos, na questão social.
Distance Education became a reality increasingly based on Higher Education. The pandemic context (Covid-19), that devastated the country and the whole world, proved this reality, and presented a different proposal in education and even in people's life. The present study aims to survey the perceptions and expectations of students from higher education attending management courses. For this, a quantitative research method was used. Firstly, in order to enhance the literature review, a bibliometric analysis was carried out, aiming to identify the most prominent keywords, authors, sources, and countries. Bibliometry was also used to give some prominence to the present investigation. Furthermore, the questionnaire survey was used, obtaining 179 responses to assess the perspective of higher education students on the subject under study. The obtained results through the quantitative analysis allowed us to conclude that students consider that in distance education the interaction is much weaker with the teachers and classmates than it is in traditional education. Moreover, it was possible to conclude that the problem is not about organizational resistance or preconception about the modality. It is likely that a huge part of the problem is based on the adaptation of the system itself, that is, on the social issue.
