Abstract(s)
Os procedimentos cirúrgicos têm vindo a aumentar. Anual e mundialmente realizam-se cerca de
310 milhões de procedimentos. O contexto perioperatório face ao número crescente de cirurgias
e ao avanço dos métodos anestésicos e cirúrgicos é cada vez mais complexo. O enfermeiro de
perioperatório assume um papel fundamental em todas as fases do processo cirúrgico, desde a
preparação do cliente até aos cuidados pós-operatórios, o que requer habilidades clínicas,
conhecimento técnico e uma forte ética profissional de modo a garantir o melhor resultado
possível para o cliente (cuidados seguros e de qualidade).
Este relatório foi realizado no âmbito do Curso do Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica,
na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória, da Escola Superior de
Enfermagem do Porto e tem como objetivo central analisar e refletir sobre o desenvolvimento
de competências do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na área de
enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória.
A metodologia utilizada foi a análise crítica e a reflexão sobre as atividades desenvolvidas,
tendo por base a evidência científica. As atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio foram ao
encontro do Projeto de Desenvolvimento de Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro
Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória com o tema
cujo objetivo é desenvolver competências avançadas do enfermeiro especialista em
enfermagem médico-cirúrgica na área da prevenção de lesão por pressão no cliente submetido
a cirurgia esofagogástrica, posicionado em dorsal.
O estágio de natureza profissional – Módulo II foi desenvolvido no primeiro momento em Bloco
Operatório Central e no segundo momento em bloco de especialidades, no contexto de cirurgia
geral. Os dois momentos de estágio constituíram uma oportunidade valiosa para adquirir
conhecimentos específicos, habilidades técnicas e experiência prática em perioperatório. Essas
experiências foram fundamentais para o desenvolvimento das competências de Enfermeiro
Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica, na área de enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação
Perioperatória, oferecendo uma base de conhecimento sólida e um conjunto de habilidades
práticas necessárias para oferecer cuidados de alta qualidade e segurança aos clientes durante
todo o processo cirúrgico.
A scoping review realizada demonstra que é papel do enfermeiro especialista em perioperatório
tomar medidas para a prevenção de lesões decorrentes do posicionamento no intraoperatório,
uma vez que este visa maximizar a segurança da pessoa em situação perioperatória e da
equipa multidisciplinar congruente com a consciência cirúrgica

The activities developed during the internship were in line with the Project for the Development of Specific Skills of the Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing for the Person in a Perioperative Situation with the theme whose objective is to develop advanced skills of the nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing in the area of prevention of pressure injuries in clients undergoing gastroesophageal surgery, positioned on their back. The professional internship – Module II, was developed first in the Central Operating Room and in the second in a specialty block, in the context of general surgery. The two internship moments constituted a valuable opportunity to acquire specific knowledge, technical skills and practical experience in a perioperative context. These experiences were fundamental for the development of the skills of Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the area of Persons in Perioperative Situations, offering a solid knowledge base and a set of practical skills necessary to offer high quality and safe care to clients during the entire surgical process.
