O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito do estágio profissionalizante inserido no plano curricular do Mestrado em Engenharia Alimentar da Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra, tendo decorrido na Divisão de Educação da Câmara Municipal de Coimbra.O principal objetivo foi o de acompanhar e monitorizar visitas diárias efetuadas a Jardins de Infância e Escolas Básicas em contexto de controlo de refeições escolares. Neste contexto analisou-se a composição da ementa escolar, acompanharam-se visitas a um total de 159 estabelecimentos de ensino e analisaram-se as não conformidades identificadas no decorrer das visitas realizadas durante o ano letivo.Ao longo do estágio, foi possível reconhecer a contextualização das refeições em ambiente escolar, os pontos fortes e fracos desta área de elevada importância para o desenvolvimento das crianças, assim como, entender a complexidade relativa à gestão de toda a logística envolvida no fornecimento de refeições escolares
This report was carried out as part of a professional internship within the curriculum of the Master's Degree in Food Engineering at the Coimbra School of Agriculture, and took place in the Education Division of Coimbra City Council.The main objective was to accompany and monitor daily visits to kindergartens and elementary school in the context of checking school meals. In this context, the composition of the school menu was analyzed, visits to a total of 159 educational establishments were monitored and the non-conformities identified during the visits carried out during the school year were analyzed.Throughout the internship, it was possible to recognize the context of meals in a school environment, the strengths and weaknesses of this highly important area for children's development, as well as understanding the complexity of managing all the logistics involved in providing school meals.
