Os Maus-tratos a Menores constituem um fenómeno complexo e multifacetado
que se desenrola de forma dramática e insidiosa, representando uma das
principais causas de morbidade e mortalidade infantil.
Tem vindo a tornar-se mais incidente e tendencionalmente mais grave com o
tempo. Em virtude deste aumento, este estudo tem por objetivo determinar que
lesões típicas de Maus-tratos em Menores podem ser diagnosticadas com
recurso à Radiologia.
Este estudo tem como população alvo crianças vítimas de Maus-tratos, quer do
sexo feminino, quer do sexo masculino, com idade compreendida entre os 0 e
os 18 anos, que constem da base de dados do Hospital Dona Estefânia durante
o ano de 2020. Para o efeito foram utilizadas grelhas de análise para a recolha
de dados.

For this purpose, analysis grids were used for data collection.
