O turismo é uma actividade global de reconhecida notoriedade e relevância para muitas
economias mundiais, cujo crescimento continuado tem como um dos principais motivos a
ampla difusão da informação sobre a oferta de produtos turísticos.
A actividade turística passou a depender em grande medida da tecnologia utilizada para dar a
conhecer aos seus potenciais consumidores toda a oferta dos mercados turísticos que promove.
No entanto num cenário onde a maioria dos agentes têm à sua disposição ferramentas
tecnológicas acessíveis de gestão e processamento de dados, torna-se necessário procurar
inovar e encontrar vantagens competitivas que permitam melhorar a capacidade de resposta e
acrescentar valor, à medida das efectivas necessidades da procura.
O presente trabalho tem como objectivo contribuir para a concepção de um modelo de domínio
para a gestão de pacotes turísticos e informação de suporte, que permita maior eficiência e
rapidez de respostas, flexibilizando e customizando a oferta.

The turistic activity has become largely dependent on the technologies used to get all the information about the touristic markets represented up to the potential consumers. However where all the agents gain access to accessible management and data processing tools its becomes clear that innovation and competitive advantages are in order to allow improvments over readiness response and added value, attending all specific customers requests. The present work aims to contribute for a conceptual domain model for touristic package management and support information that can add more efficiency e readiness response, with flexibility and customizable catalogue offer.
