Abstract(s)
No presente relatório analisamos o percurso efetuado centrado no desenvolvimento de
competências de mestre e competências, comuns e específicas, do enfermeiro especialista
em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica: a pessoa em situação crítica. Destacamos o projeto de
intervenção, direcionado para a prestação de cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa com dor
torácica.
A dor torácica é um dos motivos pelos quais as pessoas recorrem aos serviços de
urgência, sendo que, a este sintoma podem estar associadas várias situações patológicas que
colocam em risco a vida. Neste sentido, o enfermeiro especialista atua de forma
fundamentada e sistematizada, garantindo uma abordagem segura e facilitadora do processo
de transição da pessoa em situação crítica.
O enfermeiro especialista é um elemento dinamizador dos serviços, das equipas e dos
seus pares, quer na prestação de cuidados, quer na gestão e liderança de projetos
institucionais, o que resulta numa prática de cuidados especializados, seguros e baseados na
evidência científica.
In the present report, we analyze the course carried out in the development of master competences and common and specific competences of nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing: the person in a critical situation. We highlight the intervention project, directed to the provision of nursing care to the person with chest pain. Chest pain is one of the reasons people go to emergency services, and this symptom may be associated with several life-threatening pathological conditions. In this sense, the specialist nurse acts in a reasoned and systematized manner, ensuring a safe and facilitative approach to the transition process of the person in critical situation. The specialist nurse is a dynamic element of services, teams and their peers, both in the provision of care and in the management and leadership of institutional projects, resulting in a practice of specialized safe and evidence-based care.
