O presente trabalho está subordinado ao tema: ―Curso de Medicina na GNR –
Perspectivas e Necessidades‖.
Este trabalho incide sobre a Divisão de Saúde da Guarda Nacional Republicana, na
sua vertente hospitalar (Centro Clínico) e na vertente de campanha (Missões Internacionais). A escolha deste tema tem especial relevância, tendo em conta que a Saúde é o nosso bem mais precioso.
Desde logo procurou-se direccionar o trabalho para um propósito: perceber qual o contributo da Divisão de Saúde da Guarda Nacional Republicana para o Militar da Guarda, independente da função que este esteja a desempenhar. Pretende -se assim identificar a contribuição da Guarda Nacional Republicana, resultado da acção no âmbito de todas as
suas competências nesta matéria.
A metodologia para o trabalho consistiu na investigação documental de textos, livros,
internet e lei, na análise de dados estatísticos, na observação, e ainda na interpretação dos resultados de inquéritos realizados aos utentes do Centro Clínico.
Após a análise de dados conclui-se que o contributo da Divisão de Saúde, através do
Centro Clínico, é bastante satisfatório. No entanto, existem pontos que podem e devem ser melhorados, tais como um maior número de Médicos nas especialidades mais consultadas e a construção de uma unidade Hospitalar.
O presente trabalho foi realizado entre Janeiro e Março de 2009.
Abstract The present study is related to the theme ―Medicine Course in the Guarda Nacional Republicana - Perspectives and Needs‖. This work it’s about the Health Division of the Guarda Nacional Republicana, in its hospital area (the Clinical Center) and in the campaign area (International Missions). The choice of this subject has special relevance, being Health our most precious belonging. This study was developed starting from the following research issue: ―Which is the contribution of the Health Division of the Guarda Nacional Republicana to his military?‖ The main objectives of the study are the answer to the research issue as well as identify the advantages and the limitations of the Clinical Center. The methodology used is based on documental investigation of texts, books, law and internet. It is also based on the interpretation and analysis of information provided by questionnaires that were made to the users of the Clinical Center. The conclusions drawn from the analysis were that the contribution of the Health Division of the Guarda Nacional Republicana through the Clinical Center is sufficiently satisfactory. However, points exist that can and must be improved, such as a bigger number of Doctors in the specialties more consulted and the construction of a Hospital unit.
