Abstract(s)
This work reveals the academic and scientific contribution in solving the theme on the constraints found in the process of flowing production within agricultural cooperatives in Angola, more precisely in the Matala area, Province of Huíla. Much has been said about the logistical difficulties that cooperatives and farmers (individual, farms...) in Angola face in the disposal of their agricultural products. Through questionnaires and interviews with an agricultural cooperative in Matala, in Huíla, and with some producers in the region, we tried to understand the difficulties that the agricultural sector faces in the flow of its production. Improvement strategies were addressed, based on supply chain management, with the intention of making the production flow process more efficient and effective. The flow in the cooperatives is done mainly from the road modal and it presents many bottlenecks. Projects are underway, at the level of the Angolan Executive and at the level of Organizations such as UNACA and ADRA, for the resolution of these logistical bottlenecks. Through strategic management of the supply chain, and a well-structured and developed transport network, agricultural cooperatives in Angola will perform better, thus participating in the growth of the Angolan economy.
