| dc.description.abstract | São escassos os estudos realizados que abordem o teste Supine-to-Stand em crianças saudáveis. Desta forma, o principal objetivo é estabelecer a relação entre género e tempo, que uma criança demora a levantar-se a partir de uma posição de decúbito dorsal para uma posição ereta. A amostra foi constituída por 133 crianças do Colégio Português em Cabo Verde. O instrumento utilizado foi o teste Supine-to-Stand (STS). Procedeu-se à análise da amostra e ao seu tratamento estatístico através de uma base de dados. Existe correlação entre género e tempo STS. Conclui-se que a maioria das crianças (67,7%) executa a tarefa no intervalo de tempo de >1s até ≤ 2s, e que 27,8% o fazem no intervalo de > 2s até ≤ 3s. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Studies addressing the Supine-to-Stand test in healthy children are scarce. Thus, the main objective is to establish the relationship between gender and the time it takes for a child to rise from a supine to an upright position. The sample consisted of 133 children from the Portuguese School in Cabo Verde. The instrument used was the Supine-to-Stand test (STS). The sample was analyzed and statistically processed using a database. There is a correlation between gender and STS time.
